Sounds From The Basement Release this Saturday

On May 3, 2008, The Blaze 1260AM is proud to present "Sounds From The Basement", a compilation of 2 1/2 years of the local music show, "The Basement", which has been every Sunday night from 8PM-10PM. The show features live in studio guests every week, and we're excited to share some of the best of these performances.

Head down to MODIFIED ARTS on Saturday May 3rd for the official release party! The show starts at 7:00pm and costs just $5. We will also be announcing the new host of The Basement!. Modified Arts is located at 407 E. Roosevelt in Downtown Phoenix.

Jamie Kennedy to appear on Guest DJ Week Thursday

Movie star and stand up comedian Jamie Kennedy will be on the air Thursday as part of The Blaze's Guest DJ Week. Kennedy is in town this weekend and will be appearing at the Tempe Improv. You can catch him Thursday at 5:30pm on The Blaze.

Kennedy has appeared in Mailibu's Most Wanted, Bowfinger and Mad TV. He has also performed his stand up for Letterman, Leno and Jimmy Kimmel. Also appearing on Thursday will be Jared Bell from Lymbyc System.
